Individual Eligibility
- Professionals* only: Any individual considered a professional, such as a service holder, entrepreneur, freelancer, or practitioner.
- No age limits.
- Representation: Any individual associated with an organization can represent the organization with the consent of the organization.
- Constraints: An individual cannot participate in student and professional categories at a time.

Individual Eligibility
- Students* only: Any individual who is a school, college, or university goer or a recent graduate may register as a competitor; a recent graduate is someone who was a student until 1 year ago (July 2022).
- No age limits.
- Representation: The individual must be enrolled in a recognized institution an accredited educational institute or an institute that may grant a degree or diploma.
- Constraints: An individual cannot participate in both the student and professional categories simultaneously.
- Returning Participation: Previous participants are eligible to compete.

Team Eligibility
- Team Composition: Teams should be formed with six eligible members at max.
- Team Uniqueness: One participant can be a part of two different teams at a time. But the participant can only be the team lead of one team.
- Constraints: Each team can participate in only one category, Either the student or the proffessional category. Each team can submit only one solution.
- Returning Participation: Teams that have participated in previous Blockchain Olympiads are eligible to compete.

- One Team, One Project: A team can submit only one project.
- Primary Finalist Evaluation: Whitepaper & business plan submission deadline: 10 July 2023
- Finalist 10 teams list announcement: 16 July 2023
- Final Submission Deadlines for Teams:
- Whitepaper, posterboard, pitch deck as PDF, 10-min (max) pitch presentation video, prototype submission deadline: 19 July 2023.

- Finalist 40 teams list announcement: 16 July 2023
- Final Submission Deadlines for Teams:
- Posterboard, pitch deck as PDF, 10-min (max) pitch presentation video, prototype submission deadline: Saturday 19 July 2023

Project Evaluation
- Evaluation Stage: Primary evaluation will be based on the whitepaper and functional prototype. Selected projects will be in the finals.

Grading Criteria (100%): Each project shall be evaluated by the following parts:
- 30% Whitepaper (20-page limit)
- 20% Poster & Q&A Session
- 20% Pitch presentation (10 minutes)
- 30% MVP or Prototype
Prototype Grading Criteria: Proof of concept for parts of the backend and frontend.
